The Card Player (2004)Nice to see Argento's attempt at a Dogme movie, and it felt like he was having fun playing with hollywood cliches, but otherwise a unfulfilling.
Prozac Nation (2001) It's usually a bad sign when a film takes 4 years to come out and goes straight to video, but this was surprisingly good. Nice attempts to keep the production in the mid 80's time frame, and good use of color texture and camera. Plus, really nice use of Propaganda's song 'Dr. Mabuse'
Cypher (2002)A better than average SciFi Thriller. The premise made me think of 'The Demolished Man' by Alfred Bester so the twist was no big deal. It was a fun film anyway. A good double feature with 'Equilibrium'.
Hypergraphia
There is no way that anyone would ever believe that I have hypergraphia. Hypermusica? Yes. hypercinema? maybe. Probably. yes.So Here I will confess all things BLoodwire and BS about the music biz, plus my personal film diary.Film: Lightning Bug (2004)I don't have a reviewing system, so I'll just say that I really liked it. It felt honest, somehow. It reminded me of a more innocent 'Slingblade'
